Atmosphere: Zoup!s are well-kept and cozy. Soft earth tones present a calming decor, comparable to Panera Bread, but less spacious. Most Zoup!s have large windows to let in natural light, making them excellent places to grab lunch. I wouldn’t go here to study, however, because all of the seating is too exposed for me to feel comfortable staying for extended periods of time.

Food: Zoup!’s main appeal is its soup, but it offers other fare as well, including sandwiches and salads. Not only does Zoup! offer multiple soups, but they rotate their menus, so each time you visit, there might be something new you haven’t tried before. As a bonus, you can sample the soups before you commit to buying. Not all of their soups are vegetarian; most of them aren’t, in fact. But, they usually have a few vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free options. I’m vegetarian, so I prefer their tomato soup or their cheesy broccoli soup, though I do wish they provided more possibilities for when I want to try something outside of the usual.

Service: Service is quick, partly owing to the simplicity of the food: soup in a cup. The salads and sandwiches take more time, but I have not known these to take that long either, especially if I’ve avoided a lunch or dinner rush.

Price: Pricing is decent. The soups come in different sizes, so you can order according to price or appetite. Zoup! also has combo options, where you can combine soup with sandwiches for a better value. Though ordering a full lunch might be a tad more than you would spend at more traditional fast food, the quality you get in return makes this restaurant worth the visit.
